In 2019, inspired by the idea of technology and art,   I decided to dive in further only to discover a large number of incredible creative thinkers, strongly female, working in this area. This lead to the initial concept to create a show focused on these newer methods  as I wanted to present some  strong players in this field.   Already representing the work of multimedia artist, Kate Petley, I soon discovered artists Liz Trosper and Lorraine Tady, two digitally savvy visionaries, through Barry Whistler Gallery.  Now, in 2021, with these three forward thinking minds, I finally have a chance to get the show up and  into view and it could not have happened more perfectly.

Opening June 5th at Barry Whistler Gallery in Dallas, please come witness work that challenges perception through unique ideas and processes in a show titled, On Screen / Off Screen: Contemporary Painting and Technology: Featuring Kate Petley, Lorraine Tady and Liz Trosper.

Focusing on the work of Kate Petley, Liz Trosper and Lorraine Tady, has cemented my extreme interest in this area as its heightened my awareness of what is possible.  To experience the work is to discover that digitally connected art has human quality present and that these tools only provide artists additional wings to discover  and present new ways of translating both personal and universal interests.    I welcome you to experience the work at Barry Whistler Gallery in person and virtually with the accompanying catalog of text and images.  I could not be more proud of these artists and I am eager to share their talent.

Huge thank you to Barry Whistler for giving me this opportunity.  It couldn’t have landed in a better space. www.barrywhistlergallery.com
